A: I machine washed the cover on cool and put in the dryer on low heat and it came out fine.

Why does every thing have to be made of polyester. I thought it said cotton and bought one but the fabric is itchy scratch and dusty. Too bad because they are beautiful.

So I bought this pillow circa 2021, and the insert pillow was stiff as everyone said. However, I bought a few more in 2025, and now the pillow insert is soft and can fluff and create that middle bend that everyone loves to see! Bonus is that I read both tags for the old and new versions and the price remained the same. Thanks Target because I truly do love the washable cover and the timeless look. (Pillow on the far left was the 2021 version.)

So far I’ve been pleasantly surprised with the quality of these pillows. The insert is removable which is great to change out covers. Additionally, the inserts are really great quality and haven’t “clumped” like other down alrernative pillows.

I bought the cream, which is a lovely shade of...well, cream. It's not ivory, not bright white, not grayish white. I think it's just perfect and I love that it has a zipper so I can change out the pillow form, not that I would want to replace it. The pillow form is comfy, squishy, and soft. I will buy more of this pillow in other colors!

I hate to only give four stars since this pillow is so well loved and it feels like I'm raining on the parade, but this is not a five star pillow. For one, the insert is the cheapest kind, made of tissue-like material which rips like nylons and knit sweaters when the right string is pulled. One tear in the material will ruin the whole pillow, as the pressure from packing the insert with the fill material is enough pressure to statically rip the covering. So, this pillow requires a different insert, which substantially adds to the cost. Plus, the outside cover, while classic and minimalistic, and therefore easy to use, is still kinda flimsy. I think a lot of people will say the pillow covering is "soft," which is deceptive to me as soft pertains to things like velvet, whereas flimsy is also soft, but flimsy is still just flimsy. Anyway, this is not a great pillow, but it's still good, only in the sense that it's easy to use due to it's minimalistic qualities, and it's also useful, due to its generous size for couches. I do recommend this pillow, but I can only give it four stars because the need to replace the insert is a real problem and insult to the buyer or gift recipient.
