Crossing the Quiet captures the gentle flow of a river under a bridge, surrounded by the still embrace of two trees. This piece evokes the quiet strength found in nature’s timeless cycles. The bridge represents a passage, a journey from one season to the next, while the trees stand as steadfast companions—silent witnesses to the steady passage of time and the seasons’ eternal dance.

Hand-drawn and printed on fine linen textured cardstock. Each print is individually signed on the reverse. Matboards are professionally cut and finished by hand with carefully selected 100% cotton fabric, secured with artist’s tape.
Based on the selected print size, the appropriate matboard will be chosen automatically. A 5×7 print will be paired with an 8×10 matboard (inches), while an 8×10 print will be paired with an 11×14 matboard (inches).

Due to the handmade nature of each piece and the organic qualities of the materials, subtle variations and imperfections may be present, enhancing the character of every piece. Matboards are designed to fit standard frames. However, frames must have enough depth to accommodate a matboard, as it adds slight thickness. While most frames fit seamlessly, some may require gentle adjustment.
We do not offer frames with our art prints unless the item specifically states it is a framed print. Occasionally, we release limited collections of framed prints that are available as one-time offerings. If you need help selecting a frame that pairs well with your print and matboard, you can find our recommended options here.
Each of our prints is hand-drawn and thoughtfully designed as part of a themed collection. While we don’t offer custom or personalized prints currently, we’re always creating new pieces. Be sure to join our email list to be the first to know when new collections are released!

We accept returns on physical products within 30 days if they’re unused, in original packaging, and in the same condition. Sale, clearance, and digital products are non-refundable.
To start a return, please email hello@thoroughfaredesign.com with your order number. We’ll provide a return label, and the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund ($10).
